With SyaaS, we invert the relationship you have with a PaaS. Instead of you adapting to pre-set environments provided by a PaaS, we develop systems adapted to your needs. We also handle your DevOps in accordance to a Business Service Level Agreement (SLA), so you could avoid the complexities associated with operations.
In doing so, we provide developer enablement. Not only will your system be optimized and scalable. By letting us handle the non-functional areas, you can focus on innovation and development, while we help you deploy new features quickly and effectively
SLA is an official commitment between us, the service provider, and you, the client. It defines the service, and responsibilities expected from us.
This could include items such as:
The companies mentioned will provide network services and infrastructure, but not a Business Service Level Agreement (SLA) like ours. They might provide guarantees on their own server uptime. However your systems uptime and performance levels will not be covered. Furthermore, you will still need to hire your own team to manage your operations.
Proteus Ops on the other hand will make a commitment, and provide you with an SLA for a list of items including System Availability, User Capacity, Transaction Capacity, and Feature Performance. Our team of engineers will manage your system, and operate and communicate as if they were your own team.
We also charge a fixed monthly rate, removing the risk you face from having a variable cost when using services from the mentioned companies
Building up a proficient operations team is complex and costly, and will most definitely take time and focus away from your core business.
Proteus Ops has an experienced team of DevOps engineers with capabilities that took years to develop. We will function as if we were you own operations team and will reliably support your business requirements, allowing you to hit the ground running faster, and at a lower operational cost.
At Proteus Ops, we tailor the system to suit your needs, providing a custom sandbox for developers to operate in. Furthermore, we only use open source software, meaning you can migrate your system out of the Proteus environment at any time.
We only impose constraints to ensure the application behaves in a predictable manner and will deploy and support any applications as long as it is within these constraints.
What that means is; we will test major changes in a Pre-Production environment before deployment. By doing so, we will know how the changes affect the Production environment, hence preventing us from pushing changes that disrupt operations performance.
At the moment, we can only support applications that run on Linux
